What our fake profile and impersonation service covers

From fake accounts to deepfakes and leaked personal data, here is what we look for and how we report it.

Fake Social Profiles

Find and report fake profiles that impersonate you

Fake profiles that use your name, photos and work history are used to scam your followers, colleagues and family, or to spread false statements in your name.

On your plan's scan cycle, we look for accounts on the social platforms in your plan that use your name, photos or handles, including look-alike usernames.

We file impersonation reports and track each one to resolution, with the identity and authorisation documents platforms ask for, and we escalate where a platform declines a report.

Revenge Porn & Harassment

Protect individuals from harmful content and online harassment

Non-consensual intimate images and targeted harassment cause serious harm and call for a quick, discreet response.

We search the sites and platforms in your plan for the images or videos concerned, and report each one through the channels platforms provide for intimate-image abuse and harassment.

We keep a dated record of every link and report, which you can use for a police complaint (in India, at cybercrime.gov.in) or share with your lawyer.

Leaked Contact Details

Find your personal details where they have been exposed online

Published phone numbers, home addresses and private email addresses ('doxxing') expose people to harassment, fraud and threats to their safety.

On your plan's scan cycle, we look for your personal details in data-breach dumps, paste sites, people-search sites and dark web markets.

When they turn up, we alert you so you can change passwords and secure your accounts, and we request removal from the sites and search engines whose policies allow it.

Personal Photo Misuse

Find your photos used in fake ads, endorsements and profiles

Personal photos are copied from social feeds into fake advertisements, fake endorsements and scam profiles, tying your face to products or views you never supported.

We use reverse-image search and visual matching to look for your photos on the open web and on the platforms in your plan.

For each misuse you confirm, we send takedown or privacy requests to the hosts, platforms and search engines involved, and track each one in your dashboard.

Deepfakes

Report AI-generated videos, audio and images that impersonate you

Generative AI makes it easy to fake a face or a voice, and deepfakes are used for scams, fake endorsements, misinformation and harassment.

We combine automated signals with analyst review to flag likely manipulated media, and document each item for platform and legal reports.

We report deepfakes under each platform's impersonation, manipulated-media and privacy policies. Where a platform doesn't act, the evidence supports a police complaint or action by your counsel.

Financial Data Leak

Find your card, bank and wallet details traded online

Card numbers, bank details and crypto-wallet keys traded on fraud forums are often the first step towards account takeover.

On your plan's scan cycle, we monitor fraud forums, breach dumps and public messaging channels for financial data linked to the identities you give us.

If something turns up, we alert you so you can contact your bank and replace what was exposed. Where we can tell which service a leak came from, our report says so.

How fake profile and impersonation reporting works

You approve every report, each platform decides on removal, and we track each report to resolution.

  1. Tell us who to protect

Share the names, photos, handles and official accounts of the people or brand to protect, with the ID and authorisation platforms ask for when someone reports on your behalf.

  2. We monitor on your plan's cycle

We check the social platforms and messaging apps in your plan, plus websites, paste sites and breach sources. First findings arrive within 7 working days.

  3. You confirm each report

Our analysts review every match, and nothing is reported until you confirm the account or content isn't yours or authorised by you.

  4. We file impersonation reports

Each account, image or deepfake is reported under the platform's impersonation, privacy or intimate-image policy. Where a platform offers rights holders and their agents a dedicated reporting channel and we have access to it, we use it.

  5. We track each one to resolution

Removal times are set by each platform; in India, the IT Rules also set deadlines for some complaints, such as impersonation and intimate images. Every request's status is in your dashboard, and we escalate where a platform declines a report.

  6. Police and legal help

For threats, extortion or fraud, we prepare a complaint pack for the police (in India, at cybercrime.gov.in). Optional legal escalation through independent counsel; fees quoted per matter.

Fake profile and impersonation FAQs

Can you remove a fake profile that is impersonating me or my company?

We file impersonation reports and track each one to resolution. Each report goes to the platform under its impersonation policy, with the evidence, identity documents and authorisation it asks for, and we escalate where a platform declines. The platform makes the final decision on removal.

How long does it take to get a fake Instagram or Facebook account removed?

Removal times are set by each platform; in India, the IT Rules also set deadlines for some complaints, such as impersonation and intimate images. Every request's status is in your dashboard. We prepare each report in the form the platform asks for, so it isn't held up by missing documents, and we follow up on reports that stall.

Which platforms do you cover?

Social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube and Telegram, plus the other sites in your plan, such as websites, forums, app stores and paste sites. The list is agreed when you sign up.

Can you find out who is behind a fake account?

Platforms don't reveal who runs an account to other users or to agents like us; that usually takes a police request or a court order. We document the account and its activity, and can prepare a complaint for the police (in India, at cybercrime.gov.in) or an evidence pack for your counsel.

Do you handle deepfakes and morphed photos?

Yes. We combine automated signals with analyst review to flag likely manipulated media, and report it under each platform's impersonation, manipulated-media and privacy policies. Intimate images shared without consent are reported through the dedicated channels platforms provide for them.

What do you need from us to start?

The names, photos, handles and official accounts to protect, the ID or company documents platforms ask for, and a signed letter of authorisation so we can report on your behalf. First findings arrive within 7 working days.

Will you report an account without asking me?

No. Our analysts review every match, and nothing is reported until you confirm that the account or content is not yours and not authorised by you.
